The SH 45 SE project called for construction of a four-lane electronic toll road southeast of Austin, Texas. The 7.5-mile road connects the SH 130 toll road with IH-35, south of the Austin city limits.

A joint venture with T.J. Lambrecht, the project included the construction of 23 bridge structures, one of them an interchange with US 183/SH 130, and a direct-connect interchange with IH-35. The work, which began in July 2007, also included reconstruction of about 2.5 miles of IH-35 main lanes and frontage roads to accommodate the new interchange.
